Our Story
Mile High Ranch located at 5,600 ft elevation in the Mule Mountains is part of Bisbee's history. Here you will find four historic buildings, including Bisbee's first Mayor John Joseph Muirhead's cabin built in 1895, an original 1918 miner's shack on the hillside overlooking the ranch, the former tack room for the livestock (upgraded now to a guest room), and two lodging buildings that were added in the 1920's.
​
Over the years the property was used for a variety of purposes, including a private residence, an assisted living facility, a motor court, a motel, and in 2001 it opened as a B&B.
​
In addition to the lodging, today it is also an event site​​ serving the local community and visitors to the area.
